Mountain Lodge - in detail
Mountain Lodge luxury accommodation sleeps up to eight guests comfortably. It has four bedrooms, two with king beds, and two with queen beds. Both the king beds can be split into singles. The upstairs bedroom also has an oversized king single bunk bed which will sleep 2-3 children... kids love this bunk. The sofa in the garden view lounge also converts to a very comfortable queen bed. All beds are dressed in pure flax linen, the master with king-size bed, ensuite and TV.
There are three luxurious bathrooms, all newly finished with quality fittings, monsoon rain shower heads, heated towel rails and quality towels are provided.
The house has two large living rooms, both with smart TV and DVD, access to Netflix, unlimited wifi and wood fires. A state-of-the-art hydronic heating system runs throughout the property. Heating is thermostatically programmed to provide the ultimate in warmth and comfort at all times. The main living area is also air-conditioned and the three bedrooms have ceiling fans.
Whitelodge offers many living spaces. The front deck is beautiful for breakfast in the sun watching the birds, the outdoor BBQ area for alfresco dining and a kitchen grotto for serious entertaining. The rooftop viewing deck puts you high amongst the treetops and is a spectacular place for evening drinks, to experience the amazing forest shut down at dusk.
Pathways meander through the beautifully landscaped garden. The grassy terrace enjoys dappled shade and views of the gardens' waterfall and four ponds, a perfect place to dine on a warm day or rest and reflect with a book. The gardens light up at night and provide a magical backdrop from every room of the house.
Inside, the large kitchen and separate butlers' pantry are fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare and cook the finest of meals. There are two ovens, two side by side dishwasher drawers, a bar fridge for drinks, a coffee machine and essential appliances.
The butlers' pantry is well stocked with staples including olive oil, vinegar, condiments, dry spices and nonperishables such as flour and sugar, tea and coffee as well as tinfoil, glad wrap, baking paper etc. Tea towels and kitchen cleaning products are also provided.
The butlers' pantry is a complete preparation zone leaving the expansive kitchen for interactive dining and entertaining. The only thing it doesn’t have is the butler but this can be arranged! And why not have our chef do the cooking for you? We can organise a private chef who will shop, prepare, cook and serve sensational meals for you... and clean up afterwards. From one meal to your full stay, our chef will work with you to design your perfect menu.
There is parking for two cars in the driveway and a large flat parking space out the front for a further two cars. The key is located in a key safe on the property. Access details will be provided upon booking confirmation.
